This October, our outside sales team spent a week in San Diego earning their Certified Professional Sales Consultant (CPSC) credential. Developed by the Manufacturers’ Representatives Educational Research Foundation, CPSC training equips sales professionals to ask good questions, identify customer challenges, and provide solutions that work.
Why THIS Matters TO YOU:
At Cimco, everything we do ties back to our mission: providing solutions that power success for water and irrigation professionals. This training is one way we invest in that mission—and in you. The focus isn’t on making a sale or closing a deal; it’s about becoming better partners. Through the training, our team learned how to ask the right questions to uncover root problems and challenges and to listen carefully to truly understand your needs. By strengthening these skills, we can better support your success and offer solutions that make a real difference.
WHat our team said about the training:
“This training helped me recognize that everyone communicates differently and values different things. I feel more equipped to navigate perspectives different from my own.” – Erin Bujnowski
“CPSC training was effective because it puts the customer first. We identify and meet customer needs with our solutions and not the other way around.” – Ray Velasquez
“This program taught me to ask the right questions and listen carefully to find the best solutions. It’s not about making a sale—it’s about solving problems.” – Craig Sasser
“CPSC gave me tools to ask the questions that clarify what customers need and to work with them to figure out the best solution.” – Patrick Miller
“CPSC helped me appreciate the value of different communication styles and how to effectively understand customer challenges.” – Erin Griffin
“CPSC training sharpened my skills in asking the right questions and understanding customer needs, making every conversation more meaningful and helping me deliver better solutions.” – Trevor Cole
